    • Cat van Baal is an experienced head of design & trends with 17+ years experience working in house for leading retailers, brands and leading trend forecasting businesses. Delivering both conceptual and commercial ideas through research and analysis, with a strategic approach that drives design innovation – both on & offline. Since 2013, she has been running a freelance consultancy business for global brands and retailers, pulling on her expertise to provide insight and designs with a 360 degree understanding of product cycles from forecast to development and sign off.  She is a mentor to fashion students and has presented global seminars at key industry events globally (New York, Sao Paulo, Miami, Sydney, Melbourne, Munich and Tokyo)  www.catherinevanbaal.com
    • Cath Carver is an urban visionary, colour expert and artist from London. She is the founder of Colour Your City, a global movement dedicated to using colour to transform urban space. Cath has also led projects and workshops with world-leading organisations such as TrendWatching, Greenpeace, Blippar, Glastonbury Festival, TEDx, the Centre for Sustainable Fashion and artist Camille Walala. Cath is a member of the Project for Public Spaces’ Placemaking Leadership Council, Placemaking Collective UK and Colour Group (GB). Linked to: http://colouryourcity.com/
    • Shelley Hollingdrake and Lisa Roberts both work as part of the Colour Experience team, the public and schools engagement programme of the Society and Dyers and Colourists. Shelley has held learning, curatorial and engagement roles for: The National Trust, Leeds Beckett University, Bradford Council, Kingston University, Cornwall County Council and Falmouth Art Gallery.  She has also led projects and workshops, most notably her ‘Young Curators’ project run in conjunction with The Gallery & Studio Theatre, The Arts Council and Leeds City Council. Lisa has experience in engagement, learning, marketing and project co-ordination across a range of sectors involving children, young people and hard-to-reach audiences in roles for SureStart, Calderdale Council, Connexions, Leeds City Council and Local Care Direct. In addition, she has six years’ experience working in the private sector in the field of training, management, leadership and organisational development.
    • Raf Mulla is Solutions Architect at Pantone/X-Rite and has worked directly in the field of colour for over 12 years.  This role involves working with people to both understand their colour workflows and where colour is critical to them and then building processes and solutions around that.  Prior to joining Xrite, Raf studied at Manchester Metropolitan University, before working in the emerging fields of digital print and was a senior R&D technologist with responsibility for new product development with the IHDG group.Much of the last few years have been spent supporting a wide variety of customers in their attempt to capture, quantify, qualify and formulate colour across a huge range of industries, including the traditional fields of print, paint, textiles and plastics, as well as some of the more novel ones such as cosmetics.  Currently Raf is working as part of the PantoneLIVE business unit, an innovative new approach to the digitisation and dissemination of colour standards and colour control throughout global workflows.
