SDC Hong Kong: New Era Dyeing Technology and Application

  • SDC HK’s Annual Seminar will be held at CITA starting at 2:00pm.  Hong Kong Society of Dyers and Colourists (HKSDC) and Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel (HKITA) will organise a seminar on “New Era Dyeing Technology & Application” on 4th December 2015 (Friday) at Clothing Industry Training Authority.

    In recent years, dyeing and coloration processing has found an increasing focus on sustainability and innovative technologies. In this seminar, speakers are invited to share latest topics related to dyeing and coloration. Details of seminar topics are as follows:

    (1)        Water Footprint at Dyeing: Prof. Philip Yeung (Executive Director of CITA)

     (2)        Topic related to “Zero Discharge” (to be confirmed): Ms Joyce Tsoi (H & M)

     (3)        Advanced Cationic Dyeing for Polyester: Mr YC Lee (HKSDC Executive Committee Member)

    (4)        The New Face of SDC: Dr Graham Clayton (CEO of SDC)
