SDC EC’s 12th International Conference 2017

  • The SDC EC (INDIA) is pleased to announce its 12th International Conference 2017 with the theme ‘Smart solutions in processing…Profitability the key!’ to be held in The Club, Mumbai on Saturday , 16th September, 2017

    • Theme:  Smart solutions in processing…Profitability the key

On a Global level the coloration industry has seen a slowdown. All industries involved in Colouration such as plastics, textiles, leather, paper and metals are concerned about improving profitability. Brands are increasingly concerned with the environmental impact of processing throughout their supply chains.

In today’s context the Indian Colouration Industry is facing several challenges that needs to be addressed. The conference aims to touch upon topics on advances in coloration technology which not only encompasses the Colouration in Textile but also in non-textile areas

Stringent pollution norms, fluctuating prices of raw materials, increasing production costs  and the increasing demand for quality products at competitive prices has become a serious challenge for the industry.

The impact of digital transformation on Colouration technology is an interesting turning point which needs to be addressed.

The recent demonetization and the effect of GST also provide for deliberations leading to comprehensive solutions of profitability.

The involvement of various stake-holders in the entire supply-chain and value chain of the Colouration Industry will help meet the growing challenges through the conference

    • Delegates

Apart from India, we expect delegates from neighboring countries such as Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to attend on the basis of recommendations from their buyers.

The focus for this event, being centered around on Textile processing it is imperative for every Dye house and Processing Industry to attend this event. Be it the Senior Management, the Production Department, Technical/R&D segment or the Purchasing faculty at the Dye house, it would be relevant to all to attend. In addition, the following would also derive immense benefit from attending the event:

    • Brands and Retailers
    • Buying Houses
    • Testing laboratories
    • Research Institutes and Students
    • Dyestuff and Chemicals Manufacturers

    • Sponsorship / Appeal

Sponsorship solicitation is also progressing and given the topics and interest within the industry, we feel we should be able to tie up adequate contributions from supporters.  So far the response has been very encouraging and we will now aggressively follow-up for the same.

Please do send in your delegate names at the earliest and encourage your friends and colleagues in the industry to register themselves and their organizations too.
