Introduction to SDC Leeds Student Section

  • You are warmly invited to attend this introduction to the SDC Leeds Student Section at the University of Leeds. There will be presentations by post-graduate research students from both The Department of Colour Science and School of Design followed by a networking session.

    Both are SDC College Members and the Student Section aims to provide presentations of interest to each of them.  This first event will start at 2pm in the Speakman Lecture Theatre and includes:

    Welcome and purpose – Trevor Lambourne, Commercial Manager, Centre of Industrial Collaboration

    Introduction to SDC and student membership – Graham Clayton, SDC Chief Executive

    Award of the Joe Gaunt Memorial Prize to Amber Johnson, a third year MChem Chemistry with Colour Science student by Andrew Filarowski, SDC Technical Director

    Reflections and career experience – Charlotte Legge, Colour Specialist, Matthews Brand Solutions UK

    CS Students perspective – Andrew Brown, PhD research student

    Design Students perspective – Kishore Budha, post-graduate research student
