It took a small boy in Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale to point out that the Emperor was wearing no clothes. The International Summit on Textile Coloration 2017, will play the role of Andersen’s small boy and tackle some of the difficult questions around technical innovations and environmental sustainability with the textile coloration industry. Mr Prasad has been in textile and colouration industry since 1983. He has joined Clariant in 1991 and since then has been with the organisation . His expertise include textile colouration , marketing of dyes and specialty chemicals and a motivational leader. He has published and presented numerous articles and traveled across the globe learning and understanding the textile trade.

Reading for MSc Strategic marketing University of Cardiff Metropolitan ,Uk,Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, Graduated in 2014 Diploma in Textile Technology, University of Moratuwa GCE Advanced Level, science scheme – 2005 GCE Ordinary Level – 2002 .
Mr Vikas Gangrade- Datacolor Solutions Private Limited, Service and Support Manager – Indian Sub Continent.
Mr Gangrade is a B.Sc (hons) Chemistry – Delhi University , B.Sc.(Tech) Textiles – ICT Mumbai ( earlier UDCT) . Has 18 years of experience in field of colour assestment . Worked for Auro textiles and currently Datacolor.
Mr Gangrade will talk about “Virtual Formulation Process”. Optimize textile recipes based on the criteria of your customers, and improve efficiencies with networked color management. Boost productivity and save time and money by streamlining color development process.

Since 3D Printing was invented in 1983, the technology has evolved immensely over the 30 years and now basically targets 2 things: reduce time to get the first version of a product and emancipate many constraints that are not possible with traditional production methods. For example, with 3D printing, it is possible to print complex geometric shapes and interlocking parts that require no assembly

Has worked as a Fabric Technologist in MAS Holdings.she is reading for Master of Business Administration(International Marketing and Sales) from Edinburgh Napier University UK, and is also affiliated member on CMI UK and a Certified Professional Marketer nominated by AMF-Singapore (Asia Marketing Federation) specialized for business activities for Textile / Apparel and Total Quality Management Service Solutions.
Ms Udara Wickramarathna- Freelance Designer,who will pay for ‘green’ technologies?.Advanced level, Udara
Started an Advanced Diploma in Fashion Design at Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology. After that, while working as a freelance fashion designer, she joined Mast Far East as a merchandiser for Victoria’s Secret.
She then went to the UK to complete her higher studies and did her final year of B. A. Fashion at the University of Northampton.. This amazing opportunity gave her the exposure to the European fashion field and has expanded her horizons to grow as a fashion designer.. She’s currently working again as a freelance fashion designer and also as a merchandiser for Ralph Lauren at Timex garments (Pvt) Ltd..
