  • The next presentation of OCCA’s winter program will take place on Monday 3rd February at the Woodthorpe Hotel, Bury Old Road, Prestwich, M25 0EG starting at 6.30pm.  They depart slightly from their usual coatings to venture into the world of cosmetics which on closer inspection is not too far removed from paints.

The presentation will be given by Joanne Watson who is the Cosmetics Innovation Technology Manager for Boots the Chemists.

“For most women, conditions in store (including lighting and colour interference from nearby products and reflective surfaces) and the overwhelming product choice available make shopping for the right cosmetic product challenging. We at No7 used our expertise in colour science, cutting edge technology and colour cosmetics to address this.

The No7 Foundation Match Made Service provides a No7 adviser with the ability to measure the customers’ skin colour with a colour-measuring device. The device matches their skin colour to one of our seventeen skin-true foundation shades, developed exclusively for No 7.

Our three year journey from idea conception to delivery in store will be chronicled in this session.  All are welcome to join us for what should be a most rewarding evening.”
