  • What is it?

The Big Bang FairThe Big Bang Fair Yorkshire & Humberside is part of the major UK wide programme which celebrates and raises the profile of the achievements of young people (age range 7 -19) in STEM.   This regional event will take place on 24th June 2014, at Doncaster Racecourse, South Yorkshire.

    Why visit?

The Colour Experience will be taking part by providing the interactive show ‘Get up and Glow’ which explores the fascinating science behind glowsticks.

Additionally, for the first time the SDC has sponsored a category in the schools technology competition ‘The National Science and Engineering Competition’ which is run by the British Science Association.   This competition aims to reward the success of young people in the realms of science, technology and mathematics. This brilliant event is open to schools free of charge, however due to demand organisers must register in advance.
