An exciting challenge for children aged 4 to 8 to get creative with colour!
Hi! My name is Malcolm the Weaver and I live in Scotland on the Isle of Lewis. Would you like to enter my colouring competition? Can you turn my picture from black and white in to amazing colour?
What do I have to do?
Everything in nature has a colour and wonderful colours make you feel wonderfully happy. Can you create a beautiful spangled yarn or a glorious cloth fit for a king? What patterns and colour combinations can you come up with? Will you choose muted colours? Or bright and vibrant? Can you come up with some unusual colour combinations? Can you mix different colours to come up with something new? Can you do something fantastic, wonderful and incredible and change the whole caboodle from black and white in to amazing colour?
I bet that you can, go on, have a go! Use your artistic imagination to colour in my picture. I am looking forward to seeing all the beautiful designs and colours that you create’
